Fatty acids are considered metabolic intermediaries, although new facts indicate they also work as signaling molecules with different roles in the immune response. Based on that, this study, we investigated anti-inflammatory effects of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty (PUFAs) eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), docosahexaenoic (DHA), and α-linolenic (LNA) ex vivo bovine endometrial explants. For this, two groups were formed: (1) LPS-challenged (2) control, both to evaluate accumulation proinflammatory cytokines interleukin 1β (IL1B) 6 (IL6).
